Do the mains come with rice and peas? 

No, the prices you see for the mains dishes do not include rice and peas. However, my portions are very large! So one main dish and one rice and peas is likely to go between two (unless you have a big appetite). 

Can I just turn up and collect food on the day?

Currently, all food is by pre-order only. This is because it is impossible to get lots of Caribbean ingredients locally and so I travel to shop for what I need. Pre-ordering helps me to avoid waste and the website closes temporarily at 12pm every Thursday. Additionally, many of the dishes have a very long cook time (3-4 hours) and so I'd be too sad to throw it away, if it wasn't sold.  I am considering offering certain dishes on a 'turn up' basis, in the near future.

Where do I collect my food from?

You'll find us at Nailsea and Backwell Rugby and Football Club. Please go in through the main doors and straight up the stairs. You'll smell us, before you see us!

Do you do food on Saturdays? 

Currently, takeaway is only available on a Friday night. However, what lots of existing customers do is to order food cold for collection/delivery on Friday and then they heat it themselves the next day. Everything is cooked fresh by me on a Friday so it is perfectly fine to eat the next day. 

Do you do private catering? 

Absolutely, I do! It's my favourite type of cooking to do. We've catered for birthdays, hen dos, anniversary parties, corporate events and more. Please email nanascaribbean@gmail.com for more information and to request a call  back about your requirements.

What time do you serve food? Is it every Friday? 

I aim to serve food 3 out of 4 Fridays a month and the dates will be posted on social media, at the start of each month. Our normal serving hours are 5-8:30pm. 

What time is Happy Hour at the Rugby Club?

Happy Hour is from 4:30-6:30pm every Friday and all pints are between £2.70 and £2.90. No need to pre-order these! You can just turn up and pay at the bar.
